iPlatform, Techfluff.tv and TwitorFit.com!

I've been pretty busy over the last month. We've started integrating the iPlatform with our first launch partners, and have been busy working on our go to market strategy, website, and bringing in new team members. In the New Year, we'll be launching with all guns blazing! I'll keep you posted.

The social space in general has been very busy, with the actual launch of Facebook Connect, all the changes that have taken place in the Facebook Platform, the phenomenal growth of Twitter, launch of the LinkedIn Open Social platform, and a whole lot more. We've been keeping up with all this at the Facebook Developer Garage London (next one is January 21st, mark it in your diary!), which keeps me pretty busy as the Chairman. We've also been helping out the BBC run a competition to find a flash game for their box project - click here for more information about the competition and how to apply.

I've also been involved with two other side projects - the first is Techfluff.tv, a new tongue-in-cheek weekly internet TV show covering the UK and European Tech start-up scene. I'm co-producing it with Hermione Way from Newspepper. We had a brilliant response to the first show, which features an escalator pitch (in Leicester Square tube) with our start-up of the week, and viewers questions put to Michael Smith, founder of Firebox.com and Mind Candy. The next show, featuring Mike Butcher from Techcrunch UK, will be airing in a couple of days, and this week we're interviewing Simon Woodroffe (founder of Yo! Sushi) and heading off to Paris to report on Le Web! You can see the first episode below. Huge thanks to Stewart from Sun Start-up Essentials, who are sponsoring our start-up of the week section! Let me know if you're interested in sponsorship.

The other project is TwitorFit.com - a brilliantly fun new site that came out of a Twitter conversation between Andy and Zuzanna from Huddle, Nick Halstead from Fav.or.it and myself. We ended up registering the domain and twitter name, and then development started in full - it's in Beta stage at the moment, but will be launching publicly at Twinterval! There are some limited Beta invites available - check out the TwitorFit blog for info about how you can get yourself one:)

So - a busy month! Lots on this week, then I'm heading off for a week - my first holiday abroad for over a year, I can't wait!
